Here comes the middle section of the book. I'm pleased to say my birthday falls in this part, and even more pleased to note it does not involve any nuts. There are enough of those in my family already. 

I hope your day's dessert is to your liking.

Here she is again, throwing shade on everybody else's pie.

I have had this. I liked it enough that I was up all night.

How "different"? There's a custard sauce. Let your freak flag fly!

Against the "Delicious" pies, this lemon reigns Supreme, it seems. Pop would probably agree, since lemon meringue pie is his favorite.
